Field Technician, Data Center Site, Entry-Level | $18-25/hr + OT | Barker, NY

A brand-new data center is going up in Barker, NY (Somerset, on Lake Ontario, 20 minutes from Lockport). Before the servers move in, every surface in the building has to be cleaned. That's this job.

THE BASICS

• Pay: $20/hr days, $22/hr nights. Weekly pay. Overtime at 1.5x every other week (48-hour weeks).
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 3 days one week, 4 days the next. 3 or 4 days off every week. Days 6:00am to 6:00pm (night shift available as well if interested). You pick, you keep it. No day/night flipping.
• How long: Full-Time Career Opportunities
• Start: immediately. We're hiring 20 people now.
• Location: Barker, NY 14012. Reliable car required. No public transit.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Clean a new building before equipment is installed: sweep, vacuum, wipe down, remove dust and construction debris
• Move materials, keep work areas clear, help with deliveries
• Follow the site lead's plan for the day and work safely around an active construction site

WHO THIS IS FOR

• 18+, able to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet for a 12-hour shift
• Comfortable with heights, noise and cold or hot conditions
• Reliable transportation to Barker and a clean background check
• No experience required. Construction, warehouse, cleaning, landscaping or farm work is a plus.
• Full training and all PPE provided.
