About the Role:
Oak Lane Schools Inc. dba Excelsior School of Philadelphia is looking for a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join their team in Philadelphia, PA! Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with state and district curriculum standards
• Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment conducive to learning
• Assess and monitor student progress through observations, assignments, and standardized assessments
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and development
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and administrators to support school-wide initiatives
• Maintain accurate student records, grades, and attendance documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field required
• Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate (PK-4 or K-6 preferred)
• Prior classroom teaching or student teaching experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum, pedagogy, and child development
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for educating young children
