POSITION REPORTS TO: Dive Supervisor

SUPERVISION RESPONSIBILITIES: None

STATUS: Full-time; Hourly

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Commercial divers to travel at least 80% of their work schedule. This will be on the road, site work for installing and dismantling of the Portadam cofferdam system. This will be under the water and also on dry ground. There will be loading and off loading of trucks and equipment stacking.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Travel 80% of the time – Must be able to fly
• Provide own scuba gear with the exception of scuba tanks
• Assist in loading and unloading of trucks
• Basic Rigging skills
• Work in flows and dark water
• On occasion work on Hazardous Material sites
• Use PPE properly: hardhat, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes
• Read and understand work orders and work instructions
• Assist in other areas as needed and perform other duties as assigned
• Keep area clean, tools put away, and tools in working condition.
• Meet safety, quality, and productivity objectives.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• 1-3 years of dive experience
• Minimum of Commercial/ ADC or Rescue Diver Certification
• First Aid, CPR/ Emergency O2
• Current Dive Physical
• Valid driver license

PHYSICAL FACTORS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Travel 80% is required
• Ability to safely lift 80 pounds
• Must be able to stand, reach, walk and bend on a continual basis.
• Must be able to climb ladders
• Prolonged standing
• Must be able to be medically cleared to dive
